That depends on what was agreed and what the payment represented. Keep the receipt, agreement, messages and proof of payment. Your lawyer should review the transaction before you pay anything further.

If the parties already reached a binding agreement, one party cannot simply rewrite its terms because the market has changed. The documents and circumstances will determine your position.
